ABOUT VICKEY

An inspirational speaker and author from Oklahoma, as the president of Heart to Heart Communications, Vickey's overriding passion is to really know God and to help others know Him in a deeper and more personal way than they ever imagined. Vickey says, "I find it amazing that friendship with God is even possible - that He actually longs to have a very personal relationship with each of us. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on this!"

To help others experience this deeper intimacy with God, Vickey has been leading Bible Studies and speaking to women's groups for twenty years. With a degree in Interpersonal Communications, her audiences often comment that she is fun and friendly, while finding her messages challenging and deeply grounded in God's Word.

Vickey's latest book is Sharing His Secrets: Intimate Insights from the Women Who Knew Jesus (Multnomah Publishers, January 2002). She is also the author of Love Letters to My Baby: A Guided Journal for Expectant and New Mothers (Multnomah Publishers, 2000). Vickey has written for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, has had her work published in a dozen compilation books and devotionals, and writes a bi-monthly online newsletter, One Woman's Heart.

A highly relational gal, Vickey strongly values the relationships in her life, and desires to help others experience deeper intimacy in theirs. Vickey and her husband, Brian, are college sweethearts and have been married for almost twenty years. They are the proud parents of two children and are very active in their home church where they have taught classes on marriage and parenting.

When Vickey speaks, you will hear a heart that genuinely longs to know God. She shares with the transparency of a trusted girlfriend, while communicating insights from Scripture with true authority.
